Artificial neural networks prove remarkably predictive: Ratan Murty and I demonstrated accurate FFA response forecasting to novel stimuli, while Katharina Dobs showed spontaneous face-selective region emergence in mixed-training networks, suggesting evolutionary FFA origins.
